Indians struggle in 3rd round of Open de France Alstom

Paris, Jun 29 (UNI) Indian golfers struggled on day three as Jeev Milkha Singh carded one under 70 to climb one spot to be tied 27th at the Open de France Alstom here today.

Jeev (68, 74, 70) is 10 strokes behind the current leader, Pablo Larrazabal of Spain.

The other Indians in the fray, Shiv Kapur and Jyoti Randhawa also turned in disapponting performances to plummet down the leaderboard.

Kapur (75, 63, 76) could not repeat his brilliant performance of round two. He shot five over 76 to be placed tied 43rd with a total of one over 214.

In round three, he dropped bogeys on the fifth and ninth and a triple bogey on the par four 12th.

Randhawa (70, 74, 81) slipped to the 68th position after he shot 10 over 81 in the third round.

Randhawa's total now reads 12 over 225.
