Indian walkers disappoint in IAAF World Race

Cheboksary (Russia) May 11: India's Harminder Singh finished on 63rd place with 4 hrs 35 min 24 seconds while Basanta Bahadur Rana (4hrs 43:09 sec) and Jalan Parayil Surendran(5hrs 04:31 sec) crossed the line on 69th and 71st position respectively in the 50km walk final of 23rd IAAF World Race Walking Cup held here today. Babubhai Panucha could not finish the race while Chandan Singh was disqualified. India finished on 12th position in Team category with 203 points.
