Indian skeet shooting team wins Gold trophy

New Delhi, Sep 8: The Indian skeet shooting team have won the Gold trophy at the 2007 Singapore Open Shooting Championship (SOSC), according to information recieved here today.

In the individual skeet shooting held in SOSC, A D Peoples of Indian Army won the silver and Miraj Ahmed khan (Chhattisgarh) won the bronze. The Indian team consisted of EVC and Managing Director Jindal Steel&Power Ltd. and Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra Naveen Jindal.

The SOSC is the most prestigious shooting event in Singapore, which was held September 1-8, 2007 included events like ISSF pistol&rifle, ISSF Clay event (including Trap, Double Trap and Skeet.) and also World Association 1500 Precision Pistol Competition.
