Indian named international skating judge

Mumbai, Nov 2 (UNI) Prof P K Singh of India has been appointed International judge for speed skating by the International Federation of Roller Skating.

The appointment of Singh by the world ruling body came at the recently concluded Jijon World Speed Skating Championship in Spain, a release issued here today stated.

City-based Singh, who coaches the formidable Team Fitness, has been an official on the national circuit for the last 12 years.

Singh, who also is the honorary general secretary of the Mumbai Skating Association and the Skating Association of Maharashtra, was the Indian team manager on two occasions at the World Championships, the release added.
