Indian athletes ready for Asian Grand Prix

Patiala, Jun 12 (UNI) A strong Indian contingent is ready to leave for Bangkok to participate in the Asian Grand Prix Athletics slated for June 19.

They will participate in the following events: sprints (men and women), relay---100 x 4 and 4 x 400 (men and women), shot put (men and women), discus (men), high jump (men), triple jump (men) and middle and long distance (men and women).

On return from Bangkok, the athletes will participate at home in the Asian Grand Prix Athletics in Guwahati on June 23 and in Pune on June 27.
