India youth in line for fourth title, take on Tunisia in final

Chennai, Apr 9 (UNI) India's youth team placed themselves in line for a fourth consecutive title, entering the final against Tunisia after another 3-0 win against Austria in the semi-finals of the 25th Memorial Feruccio International volleyball tournament at Procia in Italy.

According to a fax message from Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) Secretary General K Murugan, India, who were the winners in the last three editions, defeated Austria 25-21, 25-12, 25-18.

Earlier, in the quarter finals played on Friday, India blanked Germany 25-18, 25-22, 25-14, putting up another all round performance.

India made it to the quarter finals with a 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 win over Switzerland, 25-13,25-23, 25-14 victory over Hungary and defeating Italy 25-11, 25-6, 25-17.
