India wins Golf tourney in Pakistan

New Delhi, Oct 25: India piped Bangladesh by one stroke to win the Pakistan Amateur golf Championship held at Lahore.

The three-member Indian team for the tournament comprised of Moin Malak, Rashid Khan and Rahul Bakshi aggregated 436 to claim the title.

In the individual category Moin Malak finished 3rd. Rashid Khan was 8th and Rahul Bakshi was placed 12th.

Rashid and Rahul, top juniors of the country, were representing India abroad for the first time in the senior event.

The individual championship was won by Shahid Khan of Bangladesh.
