India to play 3 friendlies against 3rd division league teams

New Delhi, July 13 (UNI) Baichung Bhutia-led Indian football team will play three friendly matches against teams from third division league during their tour of Portugal.

The Indian team is slated to play Recreio Desportivo de Agueda on July 22 and AC Marinhense on July 26.

A third friendly is to be played on July 29, but the team against whom the visitors are scheduled to play has not yet been finalised.

Coached by Bob Houghton, the 25-member Indian team which left for Lisbon this morning will undergo a tough training regime for seven days before they play Recreio.

They will again have three days of training before they take on AC Marinhense.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is trying to arrange a match against a select team from Vila Nova de Gaia and also against a Portuguese Premiera Liga team.
