India returns with a silver, 6 bronze from Asian Boxing Championsh

New Delhi, June 10 (UNI) Asian Games bronze medallist Vijender settled for a silver after losing to Uzbekistan's Rasulov Elshod in the 75 kg class final of 24th Asian Boxing Championship at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, today.

Six Indian pugilists had already won a bronze each after losing in the semi-finals.

Commonwealth Games gold medallist Akhil Kumar (54 kg), Amandeep Singh (48 kg), Jitender Kumar (51 kg), Manoj Kumar (64 kg), Dilbag Singh (69 kg) and Ajay Kumar (+91 kg) had lost their semi-final bouts yesterday, according to information received here today.
