India elect to field, match reduced to 47 overs
Visakhapatnam, Feb 17 (UNI) Team India skipper Rahul Dravid won the toss and chose to field in the decisive fourth and final ODI against Sri Lanka at the ACA-VDCA stadium here today.
The start of the match was delayed by an hour due to wet outfield following overnight dew. The match has been reduced to 47 overs a side following the late start.
India made two changes from the team that won at Goa, bringing in opener Robin Uthappa and speedster Sreeshanth for Sachin Tendulkar and paceman Munaf Patel.
While Sachin was rested following a back spasm, Munaf, who promised much in the last match, woke up with a stiff back and had to sit out for the match.
Sri Lanka too made two changes bringing in Chamara Silva for opener Upul Tharanga and Lasith Malinga for Kulasekara.
This would be the last match for both the teams before the World Cup starting in West Indies next month, where both of them are placed in the same group in the first stage.
