India confirm Bangladesh tour in May

DHAKA, Jan 14 (Reuters) India have confirmed they will tour Bangladesh in May, when they are scheduled to play two test matches and three one-day internationals.

''The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has verbally accepted the schedule sent by us for the country's tour to Bangladesh in May 2007,'' the Bangladesh Cricket Board announced in a statement today.

The itinerary would be announced later, an official added.

India last visited its eastern neighbour Bangladesh in December 2004 when they lost a one-day game at Dhaka's Banglabandhu National Stadium, handing Bangladesh its first ever home success.
