India confident of winning tomorrow's match: Chief Coach

Chennai, Sep 8 (UNI) Indian Hockey team Chief Coach Joachim Carvalho today said the team was confident of repeating its victory in the league stage over Asian Games champion Korea in the final of the Asia Cup Hockey tournament here tomorrow.

In the post match press conference, after India's 4-1 victory over Japan in the second semi-final here today, the former Olympian said we had got a measure of them in the league stage. We are confident about tomorrow's match.

Referring to India's match against Japan, he however pointed out ''though the victory was soothing, the team had failed to convert many of the penalty corners. We were trying a few new variations but we didn't succeed.'' UNI VV AJ KK PK RAI2312
