IIeBM, Airtel, Mather

Pune, Feb 14 (UNI) Host IIeBM, Airtel, Mather&Platt and Cummince Researcher scored easy wins against their opponents to move into the second round of the third edition of ''Howszzzat - A corporate cricket tournament'', here today.

The tourney is being organised by Indian Institute of e-business management (IIeBM) in association with Mirchandani group, in aid of Concern India Foundation.

Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by founder Director of IIeBm Col (Retd) Vinod Marwaha, IIeBm director Mr Jaisingh, Rajeev Mitra of Airtel, Head Concern, India Foundation, Pune region Malvika Gaur and Mr Sanjay Mirchandani, Director of Mirchandani group.

Following are the results: 1) IIeBM - 146 runs in 8 Overs (Gourav Vajpayee 29, Bhanu 30, J Jay 27) bt Mirchandani Group - 17 runs in 8 Overs (Hitesh 8, Anup 5); 2) BEG - 63 runs in 8 Overs (Guru 31, Vigil 15, Dube 8) lost to Airtel - 68 Runs in 8 Overs (Sudarshan 21, Amit Moghe 29); 3) Mather and Platt - 124 Runs in 8 Overs (Manish 32, Ganesh 19, Kiran 15) bt Red Hat - 0 runs; 4) Cummince Research&Tech India Ltd - 38 Runs in 8 Overs (Laxman 12, Praveen 10, Kiran 12) bt Nep Scout System - 27 Runs in 8 Overs (Ketan 17).
