Himachal match called off due to wet field

Chandigarh, Feb 16 (UNI) The one-day North Zone Ranji Trophy match between Haryana and Himachal Pradesh was call off today due to wet field.

There was no possibility of playing even 20 overs each side since rain water had left the field, specially the good length area, soft and slippery at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here today.

The umpires, after frequent inspections of the ground, finally called off the match at 1340 hrs.

Both teams got two points each.
