HCA upset over Ojha''s non-inclusion in WC team

Hyderabad, Jan 17 (PTI) The Hyderabad Cricket Association(HCA) today expressed disappointment over the non-inclusion ofleft-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha in the 15-member Indian team forthe ICC Cricket World Cup starting next month.

Tamil Nadu off-spinner spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, whois also a useful batsman, and leg-spinner Piyush Chawla werefavoured over Ojha in the squad announced by the BCCIsecretary N Srinivasan after a meeting of the selectioncommittee in Chennai today.

"President, secretary and members of Hyderabad CricketAssociation express their disappointment at the non-selectionof Pragyan Ojha in the Indian team for the ICC World Cup2011," said HCA secretary D S Chalapathi said in a statement.

The 24-year-old Ojha has played 16 ODIs for India so farand has claimed 20 wickets. He also represented the country ineight Test matches and picked up 30 wickets.
