Haryana beat Rajasthan 11-0, Tripura defeats UP 3-0

Rourkela, Apr 27 (UNI) Haryana trounced Rajasthan 11-0, while Tripura defeated Uttar Pradesh 3-0 on the second day of the 15th Women's Senior National Football Championship held at the Ispat Stadium here today.

In the cluster Group-I match, right from the start Harayana dominated the match and it turned out to be an one sided affair with goals in regular intervals.

Sonia emerged as the top scorer with four goals to her credit for Haryana. Manjit netted the first goal in the 3rd minute of the match and scored her second in the 9th minute. Sonia scored the third goal in the 16th minute to keep the tally at 3-0 during the first half.

The second half saw Sonia score three more goals. Tarasa scored two goals while Richa, Dipa and Anjali scored one goal each to maul Rajasthan 11-0.

In another match, Tripura defeated Uttar Pradesh 3-0. Rakhi Saha scored the first goal in the 8th minute, while the second goal was netted by Gulti Choudhary in 64th minute and the third goal by Anita Verma in the 67th minute.
