Harvest Academy to hold AITA Championship Series tournament

Ludhiana, Feb 16 (UNI) Harvest Tennis Academy, Jassowal would conduct AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament for boys and girls in under-14 and under-16 categories (singles and doubles) from March 22 to 28 under the aegis of All India Tennis Association (AITA).

Tournament Director Simmy Saran said here today that players from all over would participate in this national-level tournament.

The main draw for boys and girls will be of 32 players of which 20 would be direct entries, four wildcards and eight qualifiers. The draw for doubles event would be of 16 with 14 direct entries and two wildcards. Qualifying draw is open draw.

All main draw matches will be best of three sets. The qualifying round matches will be played on March 22 and 23, while the main draw matches will be played from March 24.
