Harris strikes but Pakistan battle on
CENTURION, South Africa, Jan 14 (Reuters) Paul Harris took four wickets to earn South Africa the advantage today, but the Pakistan tail wagged merrily to leave the match poised after four days.
South Africa were 69 for two in their second innings at stumps in search of a victory target of 199.
Pakistan were dismissed for 313 in their first innings, to which South Africa replied with 417.
The visitors were bowled out for 302 in their second innings with left-arm spinner Harris, who is playing his second test, taking four for 46.
Naved-ul-Hasan and Shahid Nazir shared 56 off 61 balls for Pakistan's eighth wicket, and in all Pakistan scored 92 runs in the 15 overs bowled after South Africa took the new ball.
