Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally to be held on June 30-July 1

Mumbai, June 11 (UNI) The annual 7th Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally, to be held on June 30 and July 1 around Mumbai, will have participation of some of the best riders from the city and neighbouring Pune and Nasik.

The Rally will be sponsored by Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd., and conducted by Sportscraft.

To be run along the backwoods of Navi Mumbai, the rally is open to all Indian-made scooters--two-stroke, four-stroke and gearless, a release issued here today said.

Besides trophies, handsome prize-money in each of the three categories is also up for grabs.

The different classes for competition are: above 80cc upto 110cc - Two stroke; above 110cc upto 160cc, Two stroke, and upto 160 cc - Four stroke.

A maximum of 40 entries will be accepted on first come-first-serve basis, the release added.
