Goa to vie for Moin-Ud Dowlah Gold Cup

Panaji, Aug 24 (UNI) Goa will participate in the Coromandel King All India Moin-Ud-Dowlah Gold Cup Cricket Tournament 2007 to be held at Hyderabad from September 2 to 20.

Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Secretary Chetan Desai said 22 players have been selected to participate in the practice matches before commencement of the tournament. Out of the 22 players, 14 players will be shortlisted for the state team by coach Dodda Ganesh and team manager Ulhas Naik.

The players who have been selected are Sagun Kamat, Swapnil Asnodkar, Sahil Dhuri, Rohit Asnodkar, Saurav Gawade, Anup Kolambkar, Dhiraj Narvekar, Advait Katkar, Kapil Angle, Aditya Angle, Aniket Desai, Saurabh Bandekar, Ryan D'Souza, Harshad Gadekar, Harshanand Gaoakar, Amit Yadav, Badal Singh, Reagan Pinto, Nilesh Mulgaokar, Ajay Ratra, Rahul Keni and Anand Bhagwat.

The team members will leave for Hyderabad on August 27.
