Goa makes 5 changes for match against Railways

Panaji, Dec 4 (UNI) Goa Cricket Assocation (GCA) today announced 14-member Ranji team for the four-day Ranji trophy plate group cricket to be played against Railways in New Delhi from December 9 to December 12.

After two humiliating defeats in row, Goa made five changes in its team by bringing in Mandhar Phadte and Nikhil Haldipur, who were dropped against Vidarbha on a disciplinary ground.

Sadab Jakati, who was nursing injury, was found fit and back in the team. Saurab Bandekar, who was playing under 19 team, is also included in the team. Amit Yadav is a new face in the team.

Those five players in the team against Vidarbha in the last match were dropped include Sahil Dhuri, Harshanand Gaonkar, Faizal Sheikh, Sher Bahadur Yadav and Sandesh Pawaskar.
