GNDU, DU enter Inter-Varsity Softball finals

Amritsar, Feb 7 (UNI) Host Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) and Delhi University entered the finals in the women section of the All India Inter-University Softball Championship being played here on the GNDU Campus.

In the women's semi-finals, GNDU defeated Pune University by 10-0 points while Delhi University beat Panjab University, Chandigarh by 5-4.

Meanwhile, in the men's section, GNDU defeated Mumbai University in a one sided affair by 12-0 while the match between Osmania University, Hyderabad and Delhi University ended in a draw by 2-2.
