Former Delhi player Harish Chand Suman passes away
New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) Former Delhi state footballer Harish Chand Suman passed away following a cardiac arrest at his residence in East Delhi.
He was 54 and is survived by his wife, two sons and one daughter.
Suman started his career as a defender in 1976 with Food Corporation of India and represented Delhi's oldest club - Usmania FC in the local league and other outstation tournament upto 1985.
He also represented Delhi state in in senior National Footbal Championship for Santosh Trophy held at Cuttack in 1979.
