Foreign coach options still open: Niranjan Shah
Lucknow, May 10 (UNI) Options for the appointment of foreign cricket coach for team India are still open, said Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Niranjan Shah here today.
''A committee for the selection of the Indian coach had already been formed and within 2-3 days after the conclusion of the India's Bangladesh tour this matter would be sorted out,'' Mr Shah, who was here as the chief guest of the closing ceremoney and prize distribution function of the 55th Sahara City Homes Sheesh Mahal Cricket championship, said.
A pool of 22 young players was formed and would be given chance in near future, so that they could be selected in India team, he added.
On a question whether there were any differences between Sachin, Saurav with skipper Rahul Dravid as allegedly reported by sections of media he said, ''it was not correct, it was a common phenomina that difference of opinion surfaced even when some common men gathered at one place, he was sure that it was not persist among the team India members''.
