Five Haryana Police boxers promoted

Chandigarh, Oct 25 (UNI) Haryana Director General of Police Ranjeev Dalal today promoted five Haryana Police boxers who won gold medals in their respective catgegories in the 57th All-India Police Games (Wrestling Cluster) which conlcuded at Madhuban (Karnal) today.

While presenting the medals, the DGP announced the promotions with immediate effect. Head Constable Rajneet (fly weight) has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector. Constables Ajay Kumar (light welter), Surinder Singh (middle), Ravinder Kumar (light heavy) and Krishan Kumar (heavy weight) have been given the rank of head constables.

Krishan was adjudged the best boxer of the meet. Vikram Singh, also of Haryana, was declared the best loser.
