Fifth state boxing championship from tomorrow

Jamshedpur, Sep 30 (UNI) Fifth Jharkhand state boxing championship will begin in the Tata boxing center here tomorrow.

Addressing a press conference this evening, state amateur boxing association secretary Anil Jaisawal said a total of 139 boxers, including 68 girls and women from 12 districts, three affliated boards and five other units would participate in the four-day championship.

''There will be 13 different weight categories in women and girls section, 11 weight categories each for senior and junior men events and 14 for sub junior boys section,'' he said.
