ESPN's Erin Andrews on stalker case: I've been humiliated

New York, Dec 16 (ANI): American sportscaster Erin Andrews appeared in the court to testify against her stalker, saying she has been humiliated ever since her nude videos stormed the Internet.

Michael David Barrett, 48, has been indicted for filming the ESPN reporter naked through a hotel peephole.

While talking to US District Court Judge Manuel Real, Andrews said she's had nightmares since learning she was secretly taped.

"I've been humiliated, I've been embarrassed and my career has been ripped apart," the New York Post quoted her as saying.

"I walk into a stadium and fans say obscene things to me.

"I have nightmares about this sexual predator. I walk in crowds and see him out of my peripheral vision," she added.

Barrett has pleaded guilty to one count of stalking, and will be sentenced on Feb. 22.

He faces a maximum sentence of five years behind bars, 250,000 dollars fine and three years to supervised release.

Barrett will likely spend between two and three years in the slammer.

"The plea agreement contemplates between 24 to 30 months [of prison time]," said Thom Mrozek, a Department of Justice spokesman. (ANI)
