English speedster Broad leaves without meeting pace Guru

Chennai, Feb 7 (UNI) He came, he bowled, but left without learning the nuances from Aussie legend Dennis Lillee.

Upcoming English speedster, Stuart Broad arrived in the city with the hopes of getting tips from the Aussie speedster at the MRF Pace Foundation.

But an SOS from home, calling him to join the England squad ahead of the tri-series final, forced Broad to leave for Australia without ''having his date'' with Lillee.

Broad arrived here on Monday and had a session at the MRF Pace Foundation yesterday where he bowled, Chief Coach at the Foundation T A Sekhar said.

Broad left last night for Australia via Singapore to join the England team. But Lillee arrived only this morning.
