England penalised for slow over-rate
Dubai, Apr 11 (UNI) Michael Vaughan's troubles in the Caribbean continued when England were fined for their slow over-rate during their seven-wicket defeat to Australia in the Super Eight match played in Antigua on April eight.
Match referee Mike Procter of the ICC Emirates Elite Panel imposed the fines after the English team fell two overs short of its target at the scheduled finish of the Australia innings.
According to the ICC Code of Conduct regulations, players were fined 10 percent of their match fees while captain Michael Vaughan was fined 20 per cent of the match fee.
