Dynamos blank Sultans 2-0

Chandigarh, Feb 22 (UNI) Inspired by a cheering home crowd, Chandigarh Dynamos blanked lowly-placed Hyderabad Sultans 2-0 in the third Premier Hockey League at the Sector 42 hockey stadium here today.

Drag flicker Jugraj Singh converted a penalty corner in the 17th minute and Ravi Pal Singh made it 2-0 to effectively seal the fate of the rivals.

Chandigarh Dynamos have so far secured 13 points from 10 matches, while Hyderabad Sultans are lying at the bottom with six points from 10 matches.

In the first phase at Chennai, Dynamos had beaten Sultans by 3-2.
