Dola secures gold in World Achery Meet

Kolkata, Aug 5 (UNI) India's Archer Dola Banerjee today won a gold medal in the individual round at the World Archery Meet in London.

Pareshnath Mukherjee, vice-president of Archery Association of India, told UNI over phone, ''Dola has secured the gold medal in the individual event. This is a great honour for India as the competition was tough but Lola held her nerve.'' Dola Banerjee said, ''I am too excited to say anything now. I am very happy and feel deeply honoured to be able to earn a gold for India.
