District boy for world championship in Beijing

Visakhapatnam, May 10 (UNI) K Dora Babu, a second year B.com student from Yelamanchali Mandal in Visakhapatnam district has been selected to represent India in the 18th world taekwondo championships to be held in Beijing from May 18 to 22.

According to a Taekwondo Association President M Vijayprasad, Dora Babu was training in the preparatory camp at Goa.

The Indian team would leave for China on May 15 from Bangalore. Babu would be the first boy from Andhra Pradesh to represent India in the world championships, he added.
