Dinamo FC beat Army XI by a solitary goal

Kannur, Apr 17 (UNI) Dinamo FC, Nigeria, beat Army XI, New Delhi, by a solitary goal in a Group B league match in the E K Nayanar Memorial Gold Cup International Football Tournament here today.

The lone goal was netted by Ruvaioluwaseyi Nurein in the 84th minute from a left volley of Ibrebru Ejife Felix.

Nigeria was down to ten men from the 65th minute due to red card to Eke Kalu Edwin for fouling the Army's playmaker Ngernilal.

In the second-half, substitute Thirunavakarasu replaced L N Munda in the midfield for the Army's speed game. Army's Dilip received a yellow card in the 60th minute for fouling Felix.

In the 63rd minute Thirunavakarasu bulged the net but the referee declared it offside.

Army XI, New Delhi was ousted from the tournament with three points.
