Dhanbad, Jamshedpur wins state level basketball tournament

Hazaribagh, Nov 28 (UNI) The basketball team of Dhanbad defeated Bokaro in the women's catogery and Jamshedpur defeated Saraikela Kharsawan in the men's category in the state level basketball championship held here today .

In the women's category Dhanbad scored 41 points defeating rivals Bokaro by seven points. Jamshedpur scored 62 points defeating Saraikela Kharsawan by 23 points in themen's category.

A team selected out of these players would play in the national championship scheduled on December 21.
