Deposit Rs 10 lakh in SBI, dine with Syed Kirmani

Bangalore, Mar 2 (UNI) With the cricket World Cup all set to begin next week, public sector State Bank of India, Bangalore Circle, has come out with a unique offer for depositors of Rs ten lakh and above to dine with legendary cricketer Syed Kirmani.

This was also an attempt to popularise the Bank's recently launched deposit schemes 'SBI Platinum', which offered nine per cent interest for a period of three years, and 'Super Saver Term Deposit' scheme with an interest rate of 9.50 per cent for a period of four years. Both schemes give senior citizens 0.25 per cent additional interest, a bank release said today.

The depositors also get an opportunity to have an interactive session with the former wicket keeper and share his insights on the ongoing World Cup. The offer would be available till March 31, the release said.
