Delhi wins 2-0 against J

New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) Delhi cruised into the semi-finals of the 16th under-21 National Football Championship with a convincing 2-0 victory over Jammu and Kashmir in Group 1-preliminary league match of Dutta Roy Trophy held at Haldwani, Nainital today.

Delhi collected six points from two wins and are presently leading Group-1 of the North Zone qualifying round, while both Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir have three points from two matches.

Chandigarh are yet to register any point from their two matches.

Earlier, Delhi beat Uttar Pradesh(2-0)in the opening match.

Ridding on medio Anand William's score in the 38th minute and striker Kulbhushan's goal in the 70th minute, Delhi marched to a facile victory.

Meanwhile, Delhi's goalee Pranav Rai has been ruled out of the next match against Chandigarh tomorrow after receiving marching orders for his indecent behaviour with the referee.
