DAVSSS-8 win in PCA-Boost Cup

Chandigarh, Oct 16 (UNI) DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, defeated Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36 by 202 runs in the final of the Punjab Cricket Associaton-Boost Cup organised by Chandigarh Cricket Association at the DAV Senior Secondary ground here today.

DAVSSS, who won the toss and decided to bat first, scored 273 runs for 7 wickets in allotted 40 overs. Shivam Pathania (78 not out), Vipul Chadha (68), Ankit Kaushik (48) and Nikhil Gangta (47) were the main scorers for DAV Sr Sec School.

Sanjog (2 for 56) and Hitesh Bhutani (2 for 40) were the main wicket takers for Guru Nanak Public School.

In reply, Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36 were all out for 71 in 23.1 oOvers.

Jaskaranbir (20) and Pankaj (19) were the only batsmen who could reach the double figures for Guru Nanak Public School.

Sohraab (4 for 6) and Ankit Kaushik (4 for 20) were the successful bowlers for DAVSS School.

UNI
