CWG: Weightlifters bag two medals for India

New Delhi, Oct 4: India has won two medals in weightlifting in Commonwealth Games on Monday Oct 4.

Indian weightlifter Soniya Chanu has won silver and Sandya Devi has won bronze medal in the 48 kg weightlifting event on the opening day of the mega event. Nigerian woman Augustina Nwaokolo won the gold in this event.

By winning this medals India opened its account in the medal tally and aims to become the topper.
