Cornet out with back pain

Kolkata, Sep 16 (UNI) France's Alize Cornet, seeded sixth in Sunfeast Open 07, has pulled out with a back injury.

Cornet, who was due to arrive here today, informed the WTA tour officials about pulling out with a back injury.

She turned pro last year, has an ITF title to her name this year. She is ranked 68 in the world.

As the situation now stands there would be five qualifiers in the main draw.
