Chopra at joint 29th place in Australian Masters

Melbourne, Nov 29 (UNI) India-born Swede Daniel Chopra shot second successive even-par 72 round and was lying tied 29th at the end of the third day of the Australian Masters golf tournament here today.

However, Delhi-based Shiv Kapur failed to make the cut last evening.

Chopra, who now has a total of two-under 214 at the event started the day on a sedate note as he parred the first five holes but dropped a stroke on the sixth. He shot a birdie on the eighth to make the turn even.

While coming back, he shot a birdie on the 17 but carded a bogey on the very next hole.

Australians Robert Allenby (67) and Michael Sim share the lead with totals of 10-under 206. They are being followed by compatriot Ashley Hall (68).
