Chitra and Arvind to represent Karnataka in Nationals

Bangalore, Oct 16 (UNI) Australia Open Women Snooker Champion Chitra Magimairaj and Dronacharya awardee Arvind Savur will represent Karnataka in the National Billiards and Snooker Championship to be held in the next month at Indore.

In a press release here today, Karnataka State Billiards Association (KSBA) Honarary Secretary R Vijaya Prasad said the Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association would host the Senior and Junior men, Ladies and Sub-Junior National Billiards and Snooker Championship-2008.

Squad: Billiards (Senior) B Bhaskar and Arvind Savur.

Snooker (Sr) Sajan Bopanna, D Rajkumar.

Billiards (Jr): Mundir Sherazi and Amit Bhushan.

Snooker (Jr): Mundir Sherazi and Amit Bhushan.

Ladies: Chitra M and R Uma Devi would play in both Billiards and Snooker events.
