Chirag holds Vasco to draw
Kozhikode, Mar 30 (UNI) Chirag United of Kolkata held Vasco of Goa to a 1-1 draw in the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation's Second Division National Football League (NLF) here today.
Liberian recruit Theodor Wrobeh scored the solitary goal for the Kolkata side outsmarting the rival defenders in the 75th minute.
Nigerian Ke Ke Ibrahim found the equaliser through a header off a free-kick from Ramedios Barreto in the 83rd minute making the tally 1-1.
Goan teams Vasco and Salgaocar were leading the table with four points each followed by Viva Kerala (3), Army XI (2) and ONGC, Mumbai and Chirag United (one) after two rounds of matches by the six contenders.
Salgaocar will clash with ONGC, Mumbai tomorrow.
