Chinese women win in 5th Asia Chess Championship

Visakhapatnam, Jan 8 (UNI) China women's team emerged the winner in the 5th Asian Chess team championships with a round to spare here today.

In the sixth and the penultimate round China defeated India Reds 2.5-0.5.

India Greens defeated Sri Lanka 3-0, while India Blues drew with Uzbekistan 1.5-1.5. Iran also drew with Vietnam 1.5-1.5.
