China busts fake ticket Web site

BEIJING, Apr 22 (Reuters) Chinese police have arrested three men for setting up a fake Olympic Games ticket Web site, the official Xinhua agency said.

Only 10 people have tried to buy tickets through the site operated from southeastern Fujian province since March, police said yesterday.

Beijing began taking orders for tickets for next year's Games last Sunday, promising ''very affordable'' tickets and strong security, with group or block bookings banned.

Prices range from 30 yuan for preliminary shooting events up to 5,000 yuan for the opening ceremony on Aug. 8, 2008. Delivery will only begin in June 2008.
