Cherukuri Volga Memorial National Archery tourney on Jan 17

Vijayawada, Jan 14 (UNI) The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) and Andhra Pradesh Archery Association will jointly organise the Cherukuri Volga Memorial National Archery Championship (Under 13) here on January 17.

The Championship would be held at Indira Gandhi Corporation stadium, Organising Committee Secretary Ch Satyanarayana said today.

He said ten teams from across the country had already registered their names and more teams were expected for the event.

The state archery team for the 28th Senior National Archery Championship would be selected on January 16 and 17.
