Calf injury may force Baichung to miss some I-League matches

Kolkata, Oct 1 (UNI) Mohun Bagan received another jolt, three days after 2-1 lose to Mumbai FC in the I-League campaign, as captain Baichung Bhutia will be out of play for next three weeks.

Baichung (34) has calf injury, announced coach Karim Bencherifa, just two days before Bagan's second match against Air India at home.

The calf injury was a new development to India's striker and captain as he recently recovered from nagging hamstring problem he had developed in Hyderabad and New Delhi during AFC Cup tournament.

The coach said Bhutia complained of calf injuries during routine practice on Monday.
