Cabrera holds off Singh to win Singapore Open
SINGAPORE, Nov 4 (Reuters) Angel Cabrera held off a charging Vijay Singh to win the Singapore Open today, the Argentine firing a final round 72 to finish on eight-under for the tournament and a stroke clear of the Fijian.
Singh, who started the day six shots behind Cabrera, fired a final-round 67 and missed out on forcing a playoff when his eagle putt at the last stopped just short.
Australian Adam Scott, seeking a hat-trick of titles here, finished third on three-under with American Jin Park a further shot adrift in fourth.
