Burnley's win was written in stars, says Ferguson

London, Aug 20(ANI): Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson saw Burnley defeating The Red Devils for the first time in 41 years, but he feels that the win was written in the stars.You wonder if it is fate, with Burnley back in the Premier League. "You can't deny them their victory. They worked their socks off and the fans were fantastic," he added.

"It was a bad performance by us. We should have done more with the chances and possession we had," Ferguson said.

Following one of the most embarrassing Premier League defeats in their history, Ferguson also refused to put the blame on his strikers, who have scored only once in the first two games of their title defence.
