British coach takes over in Malawi
BLANTYRE, Feb 4 (Reuters) Former India and Nepal national coach Stephen Constantine has been named as the new trainer of Malawi, football association officials said today.
The 44-year-old Briton has also worked on the coaching staff at English club Millwall.
The Football Association of Malawi said contract details still had to be worked out.
Constantine, who has also previously worked in Cyprus, replaces the German Burkhard Ziese, fired last September after the side lost their opening African Nations Cup qualifier in Morocco.
Malawi do not play in the Nations Cup qualifiers until June 16 this year when they host the Moroccans in Blantyre.
