Bopanna crushes out of singles, all eyes now set for doubles

Manchester, July 22 (UNI) Seventh seed Rohan Bopanna failed to continue with his good show in the Manchester Trophy Challenger Series Tournament, as he lost his semi-finals match against unseeded Harel Levy of Israel here today.

After shocking his doubles partner and second seed Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan in the previous round yesterday, Bopanna today, was handed over a surprise defeat by the unseeded Isreali, who pulled off an easy 7-5, 6-4 victory to enter the final of the 25,000 dollar tournament.

However, the 27-year-old Indian's dream in the doubles is still alive, as he and Qureshi, will now vye for the title against the Dutch-Swedish duo of Jesse Huta Galung and Michael Ryderstedt.
